Khemo Buddy’s is committed to providing hands-on support to chemotherapy treatment patients while they undergo 5-8 hours of treatment per session.
Our Buddy Bags have all the necessities needed to get a patient through treatment and to keep their mood uplifted and strong during the intravenous medication that is being administered. During these current times, a Buddy Bag reminds a patient that they are not alone during this process.
Our Buddy Bags were the brilliant idea of our founder and cancer survivor – Kym Keyes. These are items that she wished she had access to while going through treatment. It’s our way of saying “We Are With You”.
Each Buddy Bag Consists Of:
- Bottle Water
- Ginger Ale
- Saltine Crackers
- Pretzels
- Plain Potato Chips
- Fleece Blanket
- Fluffy Socks
- Activity Books to stimulate the brain cells (Crossword, Word Search, Coloring Books)
We also are able to personalize and send a Buddy bag to a friend or family member. Personal requests are submitted online or via email, along with a personalized note or items that are loved.
